Welcome to our first episode! Have you ever thought about how dinosaurs managed to sit on their eggs without squishing them? Or maybe wondered at what an ant sees when it looks in the mirror? Today we are going to answer those questions and more as Amy and Trace explore the strange and cool world of animals.

We’d also like to thank Andrea Parrish and Jeremiah Puhek at A Thousand Things to talk About for all their help with learning how to podcast.

  1. “Licking up” all the data, you FAILED to hit your listeners with what Platty-pusicals are called in the scientific world. Why would you omit such a great chance to Darawinate your on-line discussion with mindboggle?
Ornithorhynchus anatinus is a mouthful, but, “monotremes”, now there is a word to reckon with.
Seriously, good show, now go knit a sock for your neked chicken.

    1. Poor monotremes, they wound up on the cutting room floor. It is a SUPER fun word to say. I’ll try to work it into another episode, WINK.
